Workshops

Group workshops are available for community choirs, church worship ministry bands and more!

I love working with musicians of all levels. A session may include listening to the group perform a song, giving feedback and instruction in vocal techniques and harmonising, the basics of microphones and how to handle them, bridging the gap between solo practice vs playing as part of a band, performance techniques, and also the unique non-performance setting of church service worship.

Pricing for workshops:

$70 per hour for the initial session

I spend this first session observing and taking notes as the group rehearses as usual and then performs a song. This allows me to give initial feedback and encouragement, offer suggestions and tips, and workshop part of the song.
We can then plan further sessions for training if needed.

$85 per hour for further sessions

These would be more practical in which I plan and direct the whole session.
A great way of getting some broad musical upskilling for the whole group.

Travel fees for workshops outside of Dunedin may apply.
